Movement is Life

My passion is helping others meet their personal goals in areas of physical fitness, healthy aging, injury prevention, and post surgical recovery. I am experienced in a variety of settings and my greatest satisfaction is working one on one with individuals to help them overcome obstacles on their path to becoming their own best self through movement.

My desire and commitment to leading others along the path of physical fitness and wellness comes from my own personal, lifelong journey of health and fitness. I find true satisfaction and energy in running, strength training, yoga, Pilates, hiking and being outdoors. I believe we are created to move and there is power in movement.

So, let’s get MOVING!

  • My husband and I found our bodies suffering from aging and inactivity!!! Then Susan came to our home, conducted assessments on each of us, and gave us specific activities to enhance our lifestyle. She provided guidance on how to strengthen our weakest body parts and have more mobility! We were pleasantly surprised at the extra energy we’ve experienced as a result.

  • Recently Susan came to my house and did a Fitness Assessment. Throughout the assessment she made me feel comfortable and encouraged. Susan explained the results clearly and gave great suggestions for exercises to strengthen my weak points. I plan on having another assessment in the future to check my progress. Susan is a caring and compassionate person who I enjoyed working with on my health.

  • I’m 70 years young and have been feeling the impact of those years. My goal is to learn how to remain independent, mobile, and not a burden on others so that I may be a servant to others as I age. It’s amazing, God put Susan in my path. She’s been a blessing with her 35 years of experience in physical therapy helping older folks improve or regain mobility. Her fantastic skills and compassion are now helping me on that journey.

  • My mother fell and broke her hip while visiting us from out of state. She was far from her regular healthcare circle and comfort of her own home. We reached out to Susan for help, and she quickly became a trusted healthcare partner to my mother. She got her up and moving around and into a strength rebuilding program. My mother has continued some of those exercises after she traveled back home. I am convinced that Susan‘s work and personal connection with my mom helped shorten her total rehabilitation process. I highly recommend her!

  • Susan’s knowledge base and genuine compassion improved the mobility, coordination, and balance of my mother while she was in a personal care home. Very grateful for the gentle and caring encouragement Susan provided at each visit ; thus allowing my mother to move safely within her physical limitations.

  • After my first knee replacement, Susan provided in-home physical therapy and did an outstanding job getting me back into service. She is the consummate professional and is compassionate yet directive in a way that maximizes her personal skills. I've since needed the other knee replaced and knew Susan was the only PT I would use. Since that time, I have had both hips replaced, as well as a total ankle replacement, and you guessed it, Susan provided the physical therapy and recovery guidance for all of them. She is extremely knowledgeable and I highly recommend her for any of your physical therapy needs.

  • Susan was the best physical therapist my husband and Mom had during their journey with dementia. She was considerate, kind, caring and so patient with my family members. Susan was also very good about giving me a report after each session which was important to me. So grateful she was part of our journey.
